Merchant Terms

Last updated: 31 August 2026. These Merchant Terms apply to businesses that create profiles, submit offers, publish coupons or buy advertising placements on Hai L’affaire.

Merchant obligations

• Provide accurate legal identity, contact information, tax or registry information where applicable, branch details and logo rights.
• Publish only lawful offers for products or services that may be sold or promoted in Algeria.
• Respect consumer protection, pricing, e-commerce, advertising, data protection and sector-specific rules.

Offer accuracy

The original retail price, deal price, discount percentage, expiry date, stock limits, redemption steps and restrictions must be truthful, clear and verifiable. Inflated reference prices, fake scarcity and misleading discount claims are prohibited.

Coupons and vouchers

Merchants must honour valid coupons according to their published terms. If stock, validity or redemption rules change, the merchant must update the offer promptly or ask Hai L’affaire to pause it.

Verification

A verified badge means Hai L’affaire has checked selected information such as contact details, branch existence, logo, business evidence or account ownership. It does not replace legal licensing or public authority approval.

Customer data

Merchant access to customer data is limited to what is necessary for contact, redemption or service. Merchants must not resell, spam, misuse or retain customer data longer than necessary.

Paid placements

Sponsored placements must be accurate, clearly identifiable and linked to a valid campaign. Hai L’affaire may refuse or remove advertising that is misleading, illegal, low quality or harmful to users.

Moderation and suspension

Hai L’affaire may edit formatting, request evidence, pause offers, remove content or suspend merchant access where content appears unlawful, misleading, expired, abusive, unsafe or inconsistent with platform rules.
